The Cretans' Association of Toronto "Knossos" Scholarship Program is now accepting applications!

 

Each year, the Association will be awarding a minimum of two scholarships of $1000 each to post-secondary students that are members of our Association.

 

To qualify, applicants must be members of the Cretans’ Association of Toronto “Knossos” as part of a family membership or as a student. Note that membership for students over the age of 18 is free, and open to individuals of Cretan ancestry, or married to an individual of Cretan ancestry.

The Eleftherios Venizelos Scholarship ($1000) is available to a student that graduated from high school in 2023 AND is currently enrolled in any educational program. 

  • 2022 Recipient - Argyro Balouzakis

  • 2021 Recipient - Nicholas Ferazzoli

  • 2020 Recipient - Konstantinos Tsouroupakis

The Nikos Kazantzakis Scholarship ($1000) is available to a student enrolled in any post-secondary educational program that graduated from high school prior to 2023. 

  • 2022 Recipient - Helena Merekoulias and Marilena Dialynas-Vatsis 

  • 2021 Recipient - Unclaimed 

  • 2020 Recipient - Eleni Papadakis

Details about how to apply is available in the Application Form. Applications are due on Friday November 10th, 2023 and will be awarded at our Annual Arkadi Dance on November 25th, 2023
