Youth Art Competition 2021

The Cretans’ Association of Toronto “Knossos” Art Exhibition is an opportunity for our youngest members to learn more about the palace of Knossos in Crete and share their creative talents!

This year youth members are asked to create a piece of artwork that captures the palace of Knossos as an important part of our Cretan heritage. It can be a painting, a drawing, a collage – whatever you would like to express your creativity!

Artwork can be any size or style. We ask that artwork be scanned or photographed and submitted via email to catkscholarships@gmail.com no later than December 31st.

A panel of members will select one entry in three age categories (ages 0 – 11, ages 12-14, and ages 15-17) to receive a prize! If we do not receive any entries in one category, an additional prize will be awarded in another category. All entries will be displayed on our Association’s website with the first name and age of the artist. Winners will be announced January 2022

With your artwork submissions, please include your:

  • Age

  • Name

  • Contact information

You are encouraged to learn about the palace of Knossos before you begin. Resources are available below. We are excited to see your artwork!
